Dear Log,
A past conversation that springs to mind now for no special reason:
Drone B: You are unrealeesteek vit how soon you vunt this done!
Drone A: What?
Drone B: You seh do eet for tomorrow, eet ees nut pussible!
Drone A: No, of course I didn't say tomorrow!
Drone B: No, you seh "tomorrow", I heared you!
Drone A: No I didn't, I said next week.
Me, trying to work on a machine nearby, and unable to ignore the drones: No, not only did he not say 'tomorrow', he said 'Tuesday' -- and not only did he say 'Tuesday', he pronounced it 'Toozdee'. I mentally noted this fact because I thought that the "ee" (vs "Toozday") pronunciation was specific to the Midwest, whereas he is from the Southwest, thus really screwing up my whole theory, thank you very much.
