Dear Log,
Note to self: clean and dry out the humidifier at least every week. Otherwise the life form growing on the mesh evolves into a superintelligent hive mind, which makes a ruckus with the UN when I try to kill it with Tilex. (Incidentally, Tilex is NASTY stuff. I hardly have time to think "hm, the name Tilex reminds me of Telix! Wow, I haven't used Telix in years OAAAA THE FUMES ARE EATING MY LUNGS AAAAAGH".
The number of toxic chemcials in the average house cleaning arsenal is pretty impressive yet you rarely see any warning labels stronger than "use in a ventilated area" or with gloves. There's a similar product to Tilex called "X-14" that is the most noxious cleaning product I've ever encountered. Read the labels before purchase.
For an air cleaner and filter, the safest thing to use is a solution of water with a wee bit of bleach in it. Tilex on that is like nuking lilliput.
I don't want you to take this the wrong way. You know, only someone who really cares would risk saying it, but it has to be said...
If the mold growing in your humidifier is petitioning the UN against your mass extinction campaign, well, uh. OK, I'll say it.
You might want to see your doctor about the level on your medication. 'Kay?
In the meantime, try and think Happy thoughts!
And... don't do anything the mold tells you to do, especially if it involves legal documents, power tools, chemical agents or firearms!
