Dear Log,
I meant to spend all today writing docs for the new Pod parsing modules, but instead spent hours chasing crazy bugs to do with tying globs in perl 5.8.0 and also (in a different pattern) under earlier perls. A gratuitous gensym() made it all better. Eventually. Ugh.
At least I found out that gensym() doesn't have the garbage collection problems that I thought they did.
