Dear All,
So what's everyone's favorite ways of making CD jewel case inserts? I don't mean
a CD case, I mean just the little thing you slip in the plastic jewel case. Do people just use a little MSWord template or something?

My ex got me some software as a gift called "Sure Thing CD Labeler" or something like that. It works pretty well. I don't have a color printer, so my options are limited, but it does what I want. That type of software is generally inexpensive - usually $15-20.

Easy CD Creator came with the Windows machine I got off the shelf at Best Buy, and it's got a little program that handles it. The nice part about it is that it will create the track list on the print material based on the CD's actual track list.

Well, sometimes I use cdlabelgen which is pretty good for making labels for music CDs (I have a bit of an etree obsession). I used to use Microsoft Publisher with a template of my own design, but I lost the master somewhere sometime and never retained the inserts I made.

Illustrator comes with a set of templates for CD artwork. Measuring an insert, then recreating one in your favorite Photo editing tool also works.
