Dear Log,
The smoke from the AZ fires continues to waft all the way over here to Albuquerque. It's really hazy, and the sunlight is The Wrong Color -- it's a hue that I associate with ripe papayas, not normal sunlight. So I just take benedryl to make me not hack so much. Of course, the benedryl makes me mentally hazy. I'm in about day three of that stupor. It makes me sleep so much that the cat seemed to wonder whether I was dead (and therefore edible), but he dismissed that idea and decided that I had simply become a new kind of immobile heat source.
