Dear Log and Everyone,
Today I finished reviewing the last round of PDFs of the galley proofs of my book, Perl and LWP. This time it's just tiny things: a missing quote-mark here, a misplaced italic there, and some spiffing up in the index. (I have no idea how the poor indexer maintains any kind of sanity. It's a mind-bending task.)
And now it's done.
It's a fancy tale of you and HTTP and HTML, but also a tale of balalaikas and bazoukis, and ice-cream and pie, and William Shatner and Mila Kunis, and Fresh Air, and monkeys, and asafetida, and personalized license plates from the California DMV, and blesboks. Especially blesboks, on the cover.
