Dear Log,
Rules to live by:
- Don't mix booze and pills.
- Don't sleep in the subway, darlin'.
- Don't get involved in land war in Asia. Really. Even if you're already in Asia. Especially resist the temptation to lob nukes around.
Really, I don't think either the petty führerdom in Pakistan nor the semi-theocracy in India realize how little the (neo)colonian powers would care about swooping into both countries, balkanizing them into weensy bits, and establishing a period of suitably condescending "cultural reeducation". On the one hand, it could give EU soldiers something to do; on the other hamd, if that's not feasable, it could probably be subcontracted out to some massive and hamfisted force, like the Indonesian military, or Walmart.

Semi-theocracy in India ? What do you mean ? I'm not familiar with politics in India (at least not since 1947), but it doesn't seem to me that India is a semi-theocracy -- not much than, for example, the USA or the UK. India has no official religion, whereas most of the european kingdoms have one. (I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying this contradicts one of the stereotypes I have, and I'd be happy to be better informed.)
Besides this, what does Mataji mean ?
