Dear Log,
Sandstorms on and off for two weeks have managed to irritate my allergies enough that I've got a (hopefully minor and receding) throat infection now. Why do these things always happen as I'm trying to get a chapter done? My urgent tasks cause bad weather, which causes minor annoying illnesses?
As if writing weren't enough of a stressor, I now get to fret about what if I wake up really ill tomorrow, will the ghastly HMO doctors' office down the block be able to fit me in for anything other than a post-mortem sometime in June?
I'll go sip soothing herbal tea and take some vitamins.
