Eudora

Dear Log,

Eudora 5.1 is nice! I had been using an old old Eudora Lite (i.e., free, but fewer features), as it was getting less stable, I'd occasionally look at the Eudora site for new versions of Eudora Lite, and not really seeing them -- until superstart Lee Goddard told me that it's not a different download now, but just a mode that you put Eudora in. (Under "Help", "Payment & Registration", you either choose ad-mode, no-ad mode (with a reg code you pay for), or no-ad-but-fewer-features Lite mode.) Who knew?

Software is a happy time.

Eudora rocks!

I've been a Eudora user for many years now. I think I started back in the 3.x days, but who knows? I smile when I think of how many viruses I've avoided by not using Outlook! And Eudora is a very nice piece of software. It hardly ever crashes on me, and generally does what I need.

Version 5.1 is great, but turn off the MoodWatch. It's just a CPU hog. Besides, I know if I'm flaming someone! ;-)

Eudora 5.1 is the first Eudora I've purchased. It handles my 700MB mail folder with great speed, is very flexible, and I personally think that MoodWatch is entertaining. :-)
