Dear Log,
So, this guy has this whole idea for a writing environment that is to free you of distractions. As I wrote much of my first book on a similarly (deliberately) crippled environment (a DOS micro-emacs running on an ancient crippled laptop incapable of running much of anything else), I could very much understand what he meant with this Blockwriter idea.
So, after a solid day of reading up on emacs modes and whatnot, I have written my first-ever emacs mode, implementing (an emacs emulation of) the BlockWrite idea.
Here it is:

I guess it's sort of a beta, so suggestions are quite welcome.
Like I said, I'm quite new to emacs mode stuff.
