On the other hand, letting workers stay at home means that they get to use their existing (carefully tuned) setup.

My worst workspaces, RSI-wise, were set up by thoughtless institutions. I've always taken the time to set my home nicely.

You know, you're right. Of course, ideally I'd want the best of both worlds: a home office set up the way I want, but being able to do so at company expense. I'm ERGO-VENAL!
