I think that if I were a manipulative sadistic sociopath, my dealings with DSL/DirecTV/etc phone tech support would be productive. Instead, I am left exhausted, exasperated, and ill-served.
New concept: setting up call-centers in prisons, so that jailhouse psychos can be work as sort of remote secretaries who can take care of "making calls" for me. "Okay, Snake, I need you to call DirecTV and get them to explain why I still can't get PBS. And by 'explain', I mean just fix it. What? Threaten their families? Oh Snake, you're such a go-getter! So get going and start threatening them, haw haw haw!"
