Dear Log,
I am now measuring successes with my RSS feeds in terms of feeds that I can eliminate, more than the feeds that I create.
That is, there worthwhile things that had no official feed, so I set up unofficial feeds for them; and now, after a year or two, they now have feeds, so I retire the feed-generator and I point the RSS to the new resource.
Feeds that I've retired in the past few weeks: Arts & Letters Daily; The Smoking Gun; Weebl and Bob; the Moscow eXile; PBS Frontline; Watching Justice; and the columnists Molly Ivins, Mark Morford, and Ray Ratto.
