Yes yes, it's a song so moronically warlike that it's almost something Bush-2 would like, if only it were in Texanese.
But I reserve most of my ennui for its musical qualities; that switch to a minor key for two or three bars ("Ils vienn-NEUH jusque dans nos braaaaaas, égorger vos fils, vos compagneuuuuuuuhhhs!") is so just so cringingly bad.
Therefore and in conclusion, France should (must!) change its national anthem to 4:33.
