Dear Log,
So today I wanted to find some random web pages about PostScript, but googling on "PostScript" returns just a whole lot of pages that say "I done writ a 900-page master's thesis about Karl Popper's shoes! Download it here: 5.7MB PostScript".
And I was thinking "man, I wish there were a web site where it was like, human-categorized links..." and the neurons sloooowly sputtered and then I thought of a name that I had forgotten years ago: "Yahoo".
See, there was this site called "Yahoo" that you'd access and it'd be just this huge "ontology" of everything. And PostScript links stuff would be under like "Computers & Internet : Accessories : Printers and USB Bongs : Miscellaneous : Other : PostScript".
So I typed www.yahoo.com into my browse-trola, and saw this.
What started as an ontology about ten years is now just a corner of a portal site. A corner that's not even visible on the first screenful.

When you don't see Karl Popper, and you don't see shoes, this is further proof that Karl Popper wore shoes. QED.
