Dear Log,
The bag of cedar chips that I was invited to take off the floor of the totem carver's workshed last week has now proven handy: I put them in an old cracker tin and they're now repelling insects from the improvised indoor cat-nest.
Oh, and THANK YOU for the Alton feed.

I adore the kittens and the mom, but I think I have to give them all away in the next month or two. The cat I've had for years, Fang, is petrified of the mother and each of the kittens, even the he weighs more than all of them put together. And seven cats is just toooo many, especially as in a few months they'll be adult-ish and it'll wintery, and they'll all have stay inside a lot. So I'm asking around with local friends to see if they can take a kitten or two or three.As to the Alton Brown feed, no problem, it was just a bit of Perl.
