Dear Log,
Thursday I experienced one of those "missing time" experiences so well-known to UFO abductees. At about noon, I left the house to run some errands, went to the store for a few things, and came back and it was 5pm! A puzzlement.
With some thought, I managed to retrace my steps -- yes, between here and the store is the library! With careful hypnotic regression (actually, someone merely said one of my triggers, the phrase "Schwartzenegger administration", and I had a seizure), I recovered the repressed memory: I entered the library. I read things. I did! It was like stepping into a mythic past, where books are lined up on shelves and people read them. I know it's all so far-fetched, but I ask you to believe this story, even though it doesn't involve aliens molesting my ass with sensors.
