I just got galleys of my article for the next The Perl Journal, and decided to throw caution to the wind and print them out for my proofreading. I don't know why I resist printing things out sometimes. Paper has such high resolution. And if you have source code that makes sense only when you have 300 lines of it in view at once, you put one piece of paper on top of another to achieve this effect. Much harder to do that with even the lightest monitors.
So I went hardcopying some things I needed to sit and stare at, off-screen. A pod2rtf that'll be my test case for the new Pod parser. A mini-CMS I should be helping someone pull together. Etc etc. I went to print out pod2html's source (Pod::Html), but found that it was two thousand lines long. A bit too daunting just yet.
