Dear Log,
Today I slept late, spaced out, wrote this, and dashed off a few lines of code to generate an RSS for the Times of India site. Then in a fit of SHOCKING OPTIMISM, I emailed them the code and said, basically, "here, how about YOU run this?", instead of having it run on my server for my own personal consumption. Of course I worded it all much nicer, outlined the usefulness of RSS, etc.
My guess at the chances they'll just ignore me and do nothing: 85%. It happens a lot. Why? Because people would rather spends tens of thousands of dollars for a "plugin" for their CMS, instead of accepting a free 20-line Perl program that does the same thing. Or maybe it's just because people don't read email anymore. Or don't get email anymore.
