Dear Log,
At first, moving to Ketchikan and witnessing the always-raining weather, I thought "boy, the local natives must have a hundred words for rain haw haw haw!". Now I think they'd probably have a hundred words for those rare neat days when it's NOT raining. I should ask them sometime.
Today was a "day it didn't rain, after four days of torrential downpour, so now you can finally go outside without feeling like you're stuck in Blade Runner."
The days are getting nice and long now, which I quite like.
The past few days I mostly just poked at RSS/RDF things. A few new screen scrapers, and hours of work writing and documenting (and testing, and testing, and testing) a module for making sense of feeds' skipHours / skipDays / sy:update* elements.
