Dear Log,

Hm, the Harper's got a new design. And it's all neato and even has RSS now, and the RSS even validates. I'm impressed.

I've been thinking about subscribing to Harper's. But I'm not sure I could deal with the despair it induces, rolling over me every month.

We don't want to speak too soon -- we'll see if the generic stuff turns me into a gibbering paranoiac. Altho in theory it's all the same chemical as the brand stuff, I seem to be oddly sensitive to the composition -- altho (again, in theory) the stuff should have a shelf life of a year or more, I can tell the difference between Paxil fresh from the pharmacist and Paxil that's been sitting around my house for a month (in, of course, a tighly sealed opaque bottle, etc etc)

Or, on the other hand, the generic stuff might work much better.

I assure all of you under the pall of my giant orbiting death rays that only time will tell!
