Dear Log,
I went on a spree/bender/jag today, hacking at Pod::Simple::HTML's batch-conversion mode -- just about the only main thing I still needed to do to make it a replacement for Pod::Html. I've got it working!
Now I just need to fold in some general patches for Pod::Html from Graham (notably the top-of-page index generation), and then I can start in trying to make a new pod2html executable that recognizes at least some of the old (from Pod::Html) switches.
[Later that day...]
More spree/bender/jag, doing CSS things, adding little features, etc etc. I started spacing out, which is always a sign of a big productive spree petering out with me; so I napped, and had a dream that there's a new kind of junk food thing like a Sno-Ball, except that the outside isn't coconut, but instead is some kind of translucent blue stuff, rubbery like some weird Asian candy. Shaking this off, I went to the fishermen's supply store down the block to get some "foulweathergear" as the sign puts it, and sloshed off to the supermarket as I still still kept thinking about the CSS routines in Pod::Simple::HTML's batch stuff.
