Wednesday the phone got turned on finally, and I tried catching up on email -- several megs of it, downloaded over 14.4, long-distance, because there's no local dialup number in Ketchikan and my cable (and therefore cable modem) isn't on yet. The pile of email took expensive ages to download, and that made me seethingly annoyed -- which I took out entirely on a twit who emailed me, out of the blue, a 300KB uncompressed RTF file asking how to get the page-sizes right. I am not a nice man.
Then I went for a midnight stroll in town, which I eventually figured out wasn't a great idea, because of all the black ice around.
Thursday, more SMIL/RealText stuff.
Friday, today, I got working a simple RSS-writer class. I'm wondering if I'll get pissy email about it "duplicating" XML::RSS, the same way I got pissy email when I wrote my RTF::Writer "reinventing the wheel" of RTF::Document, esp. since as data formats go, RSS seems to be a freak magnet. I need to have Strongbad answering my email.
