Thunderingly Obvious

Dear Log,

«My impulses as a writer stem from being a satirist, and they stem from looking around and seeing what disgusts me in culture and creating a novel out of that, or creating a character out of that. I don't mean to glorify anything, and I'm definitely not celebrating the yuppie lifestyle or the lives of serial killers. It's so... thunderingly obvious. I know I'm talking to the wrong person about this, but when I see the spate of reviews that Glamorama has gotten, I wonder if I'm not saying it loud enough.»
