Dear Log,

I am happy that URLs in Slash are pretty much sane. So this entry has the URL http://use.perl.org/user/TorgoX/journal/11554 and not an everyday horror like http://use.perl.org/cgi-bin/content.cgi?page=0,2763,933233,00.html&tmpl=entry as we see with certain other content systems.

This is subject is partially covered in Cool URIs don't change at the W3C. It's also the reason why I really like Zope stuff, which defaults to sensible URIs in applications using it.

Somebody please tell this to the people from Perlmonks :-) I don't expect existing URI's there to ever go dead, but you can't say they're sane.
