Dear Log,

It's fun to laugh!

No surprise at all ...

The fact that MS will be jumping on the 'intelligent indexing' market is no surprise to me. I've listened some times to a keynote from Richard Rashid at the O'Reilly Emerging Technology 2002 conference. RR is VP Research, Microsoft Corp. He talks a lot about an intelligent indexing product, although it based its knowledge base on a lot of email boxes in the MS corp, I can imagine they can apply that to indexing the web also. I hate to say this, but MS does seem to have some nice ideas, although they think too much like an imperialist would.

The owners of MS went around buying up lots of smart people for the research group. I'd be surprised if the researchers didn't come up with neat stuff.

I laughed hardest....
