Bricolage at the Forge

Linux Journal "Toolbox at the Forge" columnist Reuven Lerner has published the first in a series of articles about Bricolage. This is a good, technically-oriented article that gets into the guts of Bricolage's data model and really shows off what a great database PostgreSQL is, too. So go read it!

Once again the old chestnut about hard to install perl applications comes up.

Have you thought about making Bric installable via PAR? I hear there's a Mason PAR module being worked on, so it should be possible.

Same argument goes for RT too.

Tuits. I gots ta have da tuits! Screw oil, we need to find new sources of tuits to handle the shortfall going forward into the future!

Actually, sky has threatened to write a simpler installer for Bricolage, but I don't know how far he got or what is plan is/was. Also, Gerfried Fuchs (alfie at users dot sourceforge dot net) has said he'll create a Debian package, but I think that tuits are in short suppy in Austria, too!
