In response to me asking to merge my vm accounts into one, and mentioning off hand that I keep forgetting to get a free software discount code.
In case you haven't heard of them, Bytemark are a small hosting company in the UK, that provide virtual private servers, dedicate servers and stuff.
Very personal service, very helpful and clueful. Possibly not the cheapest around but referral and free software discounts certainly make it good value for me.
I'm planning to move a server to Bytemark this May. People do keep saying that they know what they are doing.

they give you a discount if you are a free software author and they deem you worthy of a discount because your software rocks or is useful (even if they don't use it themselves).
They also give a discount on any bandwidth used mirroring free software.Re:I don't get how...

Wow. Thanks a lot for explaining, as it's a lot cooler what they do, than what I thought it meant: a discount when using "free software".
