I use Plain Old text, so that I can quickly note stuff in the journal - copying and pasting urls is 2nd nature for me.

Er, right, you still have to copy and paste the URL but what's the harm of throwing a

<a href=""></a>
around said URL?

Seriously I'm curious why you'd want to perform four actions (copy text, open new firefox tab, paste text, hit enter) instead of one, you know, the actual clicky clicky bit.

Well, whatever bakes your noodle I suppose. Me? I'm lazy, I like the clicky clicky ;-)
