Finite State Diagram Software

I'm working on quite a cool state based client/server system and modelling various application rules using FSD. (New job involves designing and spec'ing software halfway decently as well as researching the solutions - very nice)

Naturally I turned to Dia, and found it annoyingly didn't have a transition arc/line, and that you can only modify the colour, etc of 1 object at a time, opening and closing each individually.

Tiring of this quickly - I tried a couple more specific UML/FSD designers, Umbrello had crap transition lines, and an overwhelming number of fields to fill in and FSME was bordering on broken -- if you removed the first/last empty action, state, input or output it would segfault, a couple of other things also caused it to segfault, and you have to create half a dozen objects and complete the forms for them before you can actually see a recognisable FSM.

Nothing I tried was easy to use or gave you a nice looking diagram. I have reverted to Dia, which although a bit tedious has pissed me off the least

Anyone know a decent FSM editor/designer? Preferably F/OSS?

Looking at the wikipedia FSM page I've found qfsm which looks worth a try, I'll get back to you if it's any good

Note: Umbrello is probably the nicest UML editor I've used
