So there I was printing a page while logged in on win xp (home), unfortunately the printer gets swapped when you are not looking to the fax (its a multipurpose jobby) in the printer controller in win xp (it insists on installing the printer as both printer and fax and randomly switches between the two when you print).
so.. naturally I try to cancel that print job, set the right printer and try to print again.
after I bit I wonder where the fuck my document is.. the fax print job is still being deleted and its still thinking about the new print job after 10 minutes.
obviously I need to reboot, so I click on reboot, then it tells me somebody else is logged in so I switch to them and lo and behold there is the fax dialog for the first time I tried to print. After closing that my documents finally print
