So, the EU Software industry has said no to software patents, EU Small businesses have said no to software patents, MEPs have said no to software patents, the open source community has said no to software patents, even some EU governments and political parties have said no to software patents.
Now a UK High Court Judge has said no to software patents. So you have to ask who exactly said yes to software patents -- the answer being a) Patent Lawyers, b) Patent Offices and c) a handful (literally) of cowboys and very rich corporations and finally d) their puppet organisations with fake grass roots campaigns and dodgy dealings.
Maybe now we can start getting the EPO and UKPO into order and voiding all software patents.
