At long last I have created a journal...
The story so far:
Finished Uni. I got a BSc (Hons) Degree in Computer Systems & Networks with a Lower Second Class pass.
Went to work in london.. got to meet lots of interesting people and scoot on my microscooter around our trendy IKEA and bespoke furnished office on Brick Lane.
Met more interesting people in farringdon working for a large media company.
Met more still interesting people back in londons trendy hoxton.. this time somewhat quieter and less optimistic.
Then spent a load of time improving my perl, getting quite good at Kung Fu (passing my Red Sash Grading - allowing me to free spar with instructors and other red sashes - usually getting kicked around like a rag doll), and working on my personal projects, such as autodia (http://droogs.org/autodia/).
Finally I found work in Bristol and recently married my fiancee of 5 years.
