Following my last post - Mike has posted more info about VCG and I downloading it at the moment. Apparently it offers many of the features of graphviz but with full GPL.
It looks like dia could use it for layout and circuit design, and I hope to add support for it in Autodia
speaking of which - I've just uploaded a couple of new images I created from perl, using autodia in graphviz mode.
