...has not been to Oriental City on the Edgeware Road. What a wonderful place! It was just like being back in Tokyo - a Japanese bookstore with immaculate service, an Asian supermarket with a massive Japanese section, and there's even a shop outside selling used Japanese books at a pound each.
I grabbed a bunch of go books, lots and lots of food, and a 6 DVD set of Studio Ghibli anime. All of the major films, except the new one, (Sen to Chihiro) although the set seems to be a bootleg. Bah. Still, a very good day out, and it's nice to have octopus in the freezer again...
