I want to thank Schuyler for reccomending gpsdiscount as a place to buy a Garmin Rino 120. That's "Radio Integrated Navigation Outdoors". It's a combination GPS and FRS/GMRS radio.
So far, I've only used the GPS functionality, and it is very very cool. It would be very neat if others bought FRS/GMRS radios and we could have fun with them at the next conference.
