Video Recompression

Does anyone have the ability to downsample some video for perl.org?

J.-C.Zeus has graciously provided us with some beautiful, yet HUGE videos, but they're too big to easily redistribute. If someone could chop them down to 25% or so of their current size (hundreds of MB), it would be a lot easier for everyone to access. See http://yapc.cpan.de/ for the source movies.

I'm downloading them now... it's going to take a while even at 80k/s. I'll see what I can do with them later.

I've finished processing Damian's video. I've got a 250 meg divx which is pretty high quality, and a 90 meg mp3 (128kbps).

I'll see about getting the others done asap, the main problem is that it takes 3 hours to do the divx and 1/2 hour to do the mp3 on my p4-1700 :)

If anyone wants these I can upload them somewhere...
