I took advantage of Amazon's free shipping to buy Simon's Book. (30% off list price!) While I was at it, I opened my "Gold Box" and found a USB hub cheap, which I had wanted anyway.
Now I'm getting impatient waiting for them to ship. The side effect of free shipping is that "there may be a delay before your product ships". I guess they can save money by pushing out the free shipping packages during slow hours at the warehouses. Thus increasing utilization of resources, blah blah blah. It's actually a good idea.
For now, I'll just have to be patient and wait.
