Hypothetical Conversation:
You: What are those big purple and silver things in the corner of your living room?
Me: Oh, just a bunch of Sun E250 's and D1000 disk arrays.
You: They look heavy.
Me: You can't even start to imagine.
The conversation hasn't happened yet, but the heaters... uh.. boat anchors... uh.. anvils... no.. that's not it... here we are... computers, really are here. And I don't have a hernia from carrying them upstairs alone.
They are dot-com remains, newly rescued from a data center. And they're for sale! New, I estimate they'd be worth more than a nice car. I'll let you have them for a lot less! Extra discounts available if you come pick them up.
