I'm a little annoyed that my bank is making me get my monthly statements electronically instead of in paper. I can't imagine that it actually costs them $2 to print and mail me three pieces of paper.
The $2 is probably going to offset the free online-bill-pay, which is definitely something I don't want to give up. Plus the ATM fee reimbursement.
In other good news, they no longer hide the URLbar when redirecting to outsourced sites, so you actually know where you're going.
But, the bad news still exists. There's still an unsecured login page at http://mybank.bank.org/ that kindly takes you to a page that says: "Secure Server Connection Required For Bank Internet Branch!". So after you've typed in your username and password, it kicks you out. Oh well.
If I was a good blogger, I'd probably start ranting and raving about how there's no such thing as a free lunch, or I'd ponder switching to another bank that gives me slightly more... but instead I just felt like sharing.
