Yes. I really did have this conversation with someone tonight. I've removed my side, because he wasn't listening to me anyway.

That java programmers will believe ANYTHING.
Or at least anything bad about perl.
Or at least that perl is line noise.
Well I suppose that one isn't too much of a stretch.



But honestly I think it's just a humorous comment on the popular perception of perl.
