Question From Russia

Dear friends,

PLEASE, let me know, if there are some reasons for buying the Camel Book, rather than just the Perl manuals reading.

Dima.

P.S. To my regret, it's so hard to buy this one here... :-)
P.S.S. Please, readdress my message if needed.

The above message came to a perl.org address today. How would you answer him? I'll choose the best one and send it to him.

Printed documentation is easier to comprehend. Some say that it's because a different part of the brain handles reflected light. With dead wood, you can mark your place with a bookmark, place sticky notes where ever you like or even add handwritten scribbles in the margins if you like. Electronic documentation is nice but give me real books any day!

I'm feeling very generous at the moment. Get Dima to contact me at this email address and I will buy him a copy of Programming Perl.
