This afternoon I was planning to do some *.perl.org website work. Instead, I wasted three (or four) hours trying to get my iPod to play better with my Linux box, via the sbp2 module.
"I'll just upgrade to 2.6.0-test8", thought I. My mistake. It almost worked, once I figured out that the initrd was broken.
Oh.. and I get the exact same symptoms under 2.6 as I did under 2.4. Sigh.
