Well, actually it is a plane.

It's a quiet night at LAX. Well, it was 10 minutes ago. How do I know? The very cool AirportMonitor from Passur.

All of the data in "current" mode is 10 minutes delayed for security. Other airports using the system include Boston, Burbank, New Orleans, and a few others.

Somewhat unsurprising is the swarm of helicopters over the city.

Thanks for the link. It's fun watching the planes in a holding pattern for Logan. Now I know where not to live in eastern Mass. :-)
