Today (as well as throughout the whole WC), I was pulling for England and the USA and both lost. I'm not sure if the WC holds any more interest, but I would bet that Brazil will meet Germany in the Finals and after 90 spectacular minutes, Germany will win.
Kudos to the USA for a well-fought game. Several USA fans may fault the referee'ing, especially the handball, but in between the handball looking unintentional and the standard error applied to all WC games, Germany won, fair & square.
So far, I still loved the Brian McBride header as my favorite goal (though I've been told there have been other more great ones in other WC matches this year that I haven't seen) and my favorite geometry goal has to be Ronaldinho's free kick that caught David Seaman out of the box.
