Man, where was England (or as I saw it, Inglaterra [I watched on Univision ... Spanish channel here in the US])? They didn't show up in their game vs. Sweden, at least in the second half. Michael Owen only had one shot on goal in the whole game and it was very disconcerting to see David Beckham substituted out in the second half - I hope he's ok.
Anyway, I also watched the Ireland/Cameroon game ... what is it about whenever I watch, it ends up being a tied game? ;) I wish I watched the Germany game instead ... 8 goals?!
So the next game I want to watch will be the USA vs. Portugal match... it's been said that Portugal's a contender for the Cup, so this will be a great match to see how the USA can match up and just how good Portugal is.
Oh yeah, I have World Cup-itis ... :) What a great time to be alive!
