This story isn't a good way to start a trip. Guess I won't be doing as much Christmas shopping as I thought I would.

And while the US gov't outwardly say they want to work with Europe and Japan in stabilising the dollar, their actions seem to prove the exact opposite — after all, it is a convenient way to strengthen the export muscle in a time when US economy is at its worst.
