What is up w/ search.cpan.org?

<rant> It's been inaccessible over today and it's quite frustrating, when trying to get to documentation. </rant>

Apache::Pod

If it's stuff you already have installed, and you just want it as HTML instead of perldoc, Apache::Pod is your friend.

Now if I could just get to the documentation on Apache::Pod ... ;)

Thanks for the tip - I'm gonna install that on my dev server.

Use Kobes' Repository/Search!

Use the alternative, Kobes' Search.

<rant>
The redirector for it, kobesearch.cpan.org, as can be found on the homepage of www.cpan.org, is down too. It would appear to me that it resides on the same machine as search.cpan.org, so that these URLs will always tend to go down together. Way to go, excellent fallback system!
</rant>

Thanks, bart! I've never used that search before (I was trying to get to it from the CPAN page, but ran across the same problem), so I appreciate the direct link. Going in my bookmarks now!
