Switch to Firefox

I am DEFINITELY NOT a graphics person, but in my Web development experience, I often program using Firefox and then check my work in Internet Explorer and one of the recent things I noticed is that IE doesn't seem to support the <LABEL> tag.

It inspired me to whip up this Flash HACK, which could be used to inspire people to switch. I'm sure there are other switching stories that could be told, too ... then Web developers could sprinkle them throughout the Web and get more folks to see the light & switch.

Please please please don't flame or critique me for my awful Flash ... I just slapped it together to make a point and leave the door open for those who are more graphically talented to take it from there. :)

Peace,

Jason

how is it not working?

I have never had a problem with <label> on ie.  What problem are you having?

<input type="checkbox" id="mycheckbox" name="mycheckbox" />
<label for="mycheckbox">hello</label>

D'oh ... you're right. Using that scheme, it did work in both IE & Firefox. Thanks!

Ok, so my particular example is flawed, but what about others (no more pop-ups, tabs, advanced cookie management, etc) that could be showcased in such a manner?

There are many reasons to switch to firefox, I have been switching my users over to it. You might want to check out http://switch2firefox.com/
