This is random, but I enjoy writing these journal entries - as jouke says, it's cheaper than therapy.
I was visiting my nearby alma mater (UNC) and was shocked (well, perhaps not shocked [it is a liberal environment], but amazed) to see people protesting the war effort going on in Afghanistan. I definitely believe in free speech, but what they were saying spits in the face of the victims (both those who died and those who lost someone on Sept. 11) AND those who are bravely serving our country in the current military operation. Terrorists are not even affording us the freedom of speech - they want to take our freedom to live as we like. Any nation who harbors and in effect endorses terrorists is a clear security threat to our nation and I am glad we have the power to go on the offense (or defense, depending your perspective) to eradicate any more threats.
